I can’t recommend Christ’s Lutheran enough. It is truly a wonderful place full of love and support. Every teacher shows incredible kindness and patience with every child. When you walk in, you can feel the love that the teachers have for working with young children. The school provides a wonderful program including fun arts and crafts for every season, special assemblies, and performances for parents. There is also a lot of free play time, which I feel is very important for young children. The teachers go out of their way to make you feel at home and to make sure your child is cared for. Both of my daughters received services through Early Intervention and the teachers were very willing to talk with the therapists and incorporate the strategies into the classroom. My kids wake up every day excited to go to school and can’t wait to go back after the summer.

I started my twins in the “young threes” class last September. I was somewhat nervous as my children had not been used to organized programmes and had not interacted much with other children. I could not have been more delighted with their first year at Christ Lutheran. Having spoken to parents whose children are at other schools I know that we made the right choice of school. Nowhere will parents find more committed, caring and astute teachers than those we experienced for our children. The school went above and beyond in their nurturing of our two who now are upset that they are on summer break and cannot go to see their teachers and friends. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Christ Lutheran Nursery School to any parent.

All three of my children went through Christ Lutheran, my oldest 7 and my youngest now three. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the school and the faculty. The teachers are simply amazing and love our children as we would. They are nurturing, caring, compassionate and fun. My son, now 7, struggled for his first two years and Mrs. Abbott took such amazing care of him, letting him sit with her EVERY single morning until he was ready to venture on his own. Mrs. Moran, the lead in the two’s and three’s, runs a fantastic program with grace and skill.
In the four’s, my two oldest had Mrs. Sykes and Mrs. Haney. They are a wonderful pair and work fabulously together. Again, my son struggled adjusting to the new classroom and Mrs. Haney let him hang with her every morning until he was ready to socialize with the group. Parents get frequent updates on how the children are doing and what they are working on in class. They are all truly a wonderful group of teachers and we are going to miss them next year!

My son started in the two-year-old program and has been at Christ’s Lutheran for four years. The teachers are exemplary and so nurturing to each student. As for academics, my son has learned so much and has even memorized poetry. Handwriting without tears is an excellent program that really helped. I love the special programs they do for the parents: Mother’s Day, end of the year and the Christmas show. The school brings in a theater group 3 times a year to put on a live show for the students. I know my son has met lifelong friends at the school. The best part is that my son enjoys waking up every day and going to school.
