Historic Bethlehem Pike Give Back Program benefits For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation.
Halligan’s Pub will offer a portion of all proceeds to benefit the mission of For Pete’s Sake.
For Pete’s Sake was connected to the Give Back Program by Flourtown resident, Geoffrey Harden. Geoffrey partnered with the Historic Bethlehem Pike Give Back program to raise funds and awareness for For Pete’s Sake because he has a personal connection. His friend Rachel passed away at age 41 from cancer. During her treatment, FPS sent her, her husband, John and son, Oscar on a vacation to Florida. This October Geoffrey will run the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon, his first 13.1 miler, in honor of Rachel and her family. Geoffrey knows just how much this trip meant to his friends and wants to help give another family a much-needed break from cancer where they can create wonderful, lasting family memories.
