The Flourtown GIANT is now offering a series of FREE cooking classes open to the public. Half of the classes are geared toward kids and half for adults. They are directed by the in-store nutritionist, Rabiya Bower, a Springfield resident.
Every other Saturday morning, Rabiya shows children and parents some simple, fun, and nutritious snacks or meals you can make with your family. These classes are brought to you by the Kids Cook Monday initiative, which encourages families to set aside the first night of every week for cooking and eating together as a family.
Every other Thursday evening, Rabiya instructs adults in creating healthy meals with a theme. For example, in January and February themes include Super Bowl Snacks, Valentine’s Day meals for that someone special, and heart-healthy foods in celebration of National Heart Month.
Check out all the classes in our events calendar.
For more information or to register for any of the classes contact Rabiya at 215-836-4300 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
