Goldfish Swim School – Local Business

GoldfishSS3Meg and Greg Kevane are the two fun-loving parents who own the new Goldfish Swim School, opening in May in Fort Washington. After having a fantastic experience themselves, and with Greg’s local roots, they decided to open the school in this area.

The Swim School offers extraordinary swim lessons in a child-friendly environment. They provide instruction to children ages 4 months to 12 years-old in a unique setting with highly trained instructors.

Below are questions we asked of Meg and Greg:

What is one thing you’re known for, or do really well?

Getting kids to love the water! It is our goal to make the experience so comfortable, and engaging that children will excel in our program.

What makes your swim lessons different from others?
  • Our pool is heated to 90 degrees
  • Air temperatures headed to 92 degrees (which sounds about perfect right now!)
  • A maximum of four-to-one ratios for swimming lessons
  • Families with kids of different ages and skill levels can conveniently have all of their swimmers in the pool during the same half-hour time slot
  • An advanced water purification system
Why did you choose to have your business in this area?

We have loved the experience of Goldfish Swim School for our kids, and saw a need for our business here.
