Starting September 29, Halligan’s Pub will provide fresh lunches and dinners, five days a week for the CHMOW community. This community-based, non-profit organization is devoted to meeting the daily nutritional needs of any of their neighbors challenged by illness, disability or age.
We take great pleasure in supporting our local community’s charitable causes as a way to give back to them and thank them for 19 years of business. But this is truly a special opportunity. We will provide hundreds of healthy meals per week, and then 100+ volunteers will deliver those meals to this community, our community
– Joe Halligan (owner and operator)
The CHMOW caring and vigilant brand brings much to clients aside from the healthy food. Their mission is to respect their clients’ desire to live independently. The CHMOW caring volunteers home-deliver two fresh meals each day, five days a week. Forced isolation is avoided; interpersonal relations between client and volunteer develop and individual freedom is supported.
CHMOW is also excited to announce they are officially moving all operations to Flourtown. Their new home is in the Flourtown Presbyterian Church, who has donated all administrative offices.
If you know someone who needs food delivery, please call the CHMOW office at 215.233.5555. CHMOW is also seeking your help in providing baked goods to clients. If you would like to help, sign up here.
