From the Summer Reading Club, to magicians, to musicians, to lots of science experiments and demonstrations, the library will be heating up this summer. Summer Reading Club begins on June 23 and runs all summer. There will be prizes, activities and performers for all ages this summer at the library! Children, teens and adults can all get in on the fun.
There are 4 clubs:
- Read to Me for children birth to age 4
- Kids for children entering Pre-K to 5th grade
- Teens entering grades 6 to 12
The children and teen clubs track their reading, can earn weekly prizes, and are entered into a drawing for a grand prize. The adults can submit a review of the books they read during the summer, and enter a weekly raffle for a gift basket.
The library will also host some great entertainment and science programs held in the afternoons and evenings in June, July and August. Continue to check our Events Calendar for updates. Highlights include:
- Magician, The Amazing Mr. Q
- Visit from the local robotics team
- Live animal show
- The Science of Slime
